Description

• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and refine budgets and forecasts.
• Provide insightful variance analysis to highlight key trends and opportunities.
• Support the implementation of financial planning tools and systems for improved efficiency.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance accuracy and productivity.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support organisational projects and initiatives.

Profile

A successful FP&A Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Experience in financial planning and analysis within the accounting and finance sector.
• Strong technical accounting skills and familiarity with financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and using accounting software.
• The ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
