FP&A Analyst

We are collaborating with a dynamic organisation in a rapidly growing sector to find a talented and motivated FP&A Analyst for their expanding finance team in Bathgate. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant with a solid foundation in finance. The role will allow you to contribute to key business decisions and further develop your expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role:

As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis function. You will be instrumental in:

• Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
• Conducting financial analysis and providing insights into business performance.
• Supporting the monthly and quarterly reporting processes.
• Identifying trends, variances, and potential risks or opportunities.
• Collaborating with various departments to gather financial data and understand business drivers.
• Contributing to process improvements and the development of financial models.

About You:

• Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent. (Actively studying towards completion is highly desirable).
• Proven experience in a finance role, ideally with exposure to financial planning and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an excellent eye for detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills highly beneficial).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• A proactive and inquisitive mindset, eager to learn and develop.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
