We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join a rapidly growing business near Ely.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing financial insights, building models, and delivering data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making across the business. This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
Develop, maintain, and improve financial models and dashboards to track performance.
Conduct variance analysis of actuals vs. budget/forecast, identifying key drivers and business impacts.
Partner with business units to understand financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
Prepare management reporting, including monthly financial performance packs, KPIs, and ad-hoc analysis.
Support scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to guide decision-making.
Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives, investments, and cost-saving opportunities.
Assist in developing presentations for senior leadership and the Board.
Requirements
Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
2-4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or investment banking.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Hyperion, or similar) is a plus.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
