Job Description - FP&A Manager

FP&A Manager | Manchester city centre (hybrid) | £65,000 - £75,000 | PE backed

Axon Moore are working exclusively with a PE backed business who are looking to add a commercially astute FP&A Manager to join their team. To be considered for this role, you must be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with prior experience in a Finance Business Partner / Commercial Finance role.

You’d be expected to hit the ground running within the team, leading all financial planning & analysis across the business whilst supporting the senior leadership teams.

Responsibilities include:

Business partnering with the wider teams to understand business performance and how this translates into the P&L, cash flow and balance sheet
Acting as a conduit between finance and operational teams to help drive profitable growth
Reviewing of commercial arrangements and business cases helping to inform decision making
Lead the annual budgeting process
Provide high quality actionable analysis, ensuring sufficient challenge is provided
Preparation of board materials including overseeing the preparation of monthly board packs
Regular reporting of market performance, looking at competitors, new business ventures
Working with the Head of Commercial Finance and other senior leaders, develop and maintain relationships with banks, PE house etc

Ideal candidate:

Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
An ability to present financial information to colleagues in a clear, concise and confident manner
Cross functional stakeholder management and an ability to lead change across the business
