FP&A Manager - Maternity Cover

Are you a commercially astute finance professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic, PE-backed tech services business? We’re recruiting an FP&A Manager for a 12-month maternity cover, based at our Central Manchester head office.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative environment during a key period of growth and transformation, backed by a leading private equity investor. You'll play a pivotal role in driving financial insight, planning and performance across the group.

• Own the group’s budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes
• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support key business decisions and commercial initiatives
• Partner with senior stakeholders across operations, sales and product to track KPIs and optimise performance
• Lead month-end performance reviews and variance analysis versus forecast/budget
• Support the PE investor reporting process, including board packs and MI preparation
• Develop and enhance financial models to support growth, investment and scenario planning
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems, processes and reporting capabilities

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong FP&A and commercial finance experience, ideally in a tech, SaaS, or services-based business
• Able to communicate financial insight clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Highly proficient in Excel and financial modelling – exposure to Power BI or other BI tools would be an advantage
• Experience in a private equity environment is desirable but not essential
• A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a scale-up or change-oriented setting
