Job Role: FRA Carpenter

Area: Ipswich

Pay: Up to £43,000.00 per year + van and fuel card

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using hand and power tools to fabricate and repair structures according to specifications.

Duties:
- Construct and install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, counters, and stairs
- Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fibreglass, drywall, and other materials
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks as needed
- Repair or replace damaged roof structures
- Carry out joinery work including fitting doors, windows, and staircases
- Undertake masonry work such as bricklaying or tiling
- Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props
- Paint surfaces according to instructions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to fabricate, plumb, perform basic electrical work, roof repairs, joinery tasks, masonry work, assembly work, and painting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship
- Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
