Davale Associates is looking for talented, reliable and passionate Freelance Chefs to join our growing team, working across a variety of client sites in the Southampton area.

We offer a fantastic opportunity for chefs looking for flexible work, varied environments and the chance to showcase their culinary skills across different kitchens.

Whether you're an experienced Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or Head Chef, we're keen to hear from chefs who take pride in their work and can adapt to different kitchen environments.

The Role

As a Freelance Chef working through Davale Associates, you will be placed at various client sites, supporting their kitchen teams and delivering high-quality food and service.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard.

* Supporting kitchen teams during busy service periods.

* Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.

* Following food safety procedures and health and safety guidelines.

* Adapting quickly to different kitchens, menus and working environments.

* Working professionally and collaboratively with other kitchen staff.

What We're Looking For

* Previous professional kitchen experience.

* A positive attitude and a passion for food.

* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Good communication skills and a reliable, flexible approach.

* Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety standards.

* The ability to adapt to different clients and kitchen environments.

Relevant food hygiene qualifications are desirable, and a valid Level 2 Food Safety qualification is an advantage.
