Freelance Event Operators

Due to the continued growth at Strata we are looking to expand our pool of freelance Event Operators in the Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire/Buckinghamshire area! We are one of the fastest growing experiential events agencies in the UK and work with leading global brands in automotive, tech, pharma and beauty.

Ideally, candidates will demonstrate experience working in the events industry. We will also consider candidates with strong warehouse experience and can demonstrate a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills and a passion for service delivery.

Strata currently have a major warehouse facility compromising of 800 sq metres of racked warehouse space and a further 300 sq metres of space located alongside. It is envisaged that these facilities will grow depending on outcome of client contract wins. 

The warehouse contains a mixture of client owned event equipment, Strata owned ‘Hire Desk’ equipment, Strata owned system exhibition equipment and office equipment. 

Our freelance Event Operatives will be responsible for the following key duties:  

• Work closely with the Head of Event Support and Warehouse Manager to ensure the correct event equipment is taken to and collected from site

• Work with the Warehouse Manager to confirm the status of event equipment on return from an event

• Committed to working the necessary unsocial hours - including overnights away from home and weekends

• Work with the Warehouse Manager and Head of Event Support to ensure the correct weight vehicle is used

• Complete event set ups on site using basic hand tools and adhering to relevant H&S risk assessments

• Able to drive vans up to 3.5T
