This position is on a freelance basis.

There will be a very clear onboarding process in the first month as we want all our writers to work according to our guidelines. After the first month, you will receive all the support you need from our team and other freelance writers to be effective at your projects.

Key responsibilities:

We are looking for a content writer for the French sustainability and home improvement market. Therefore, you must be fluent in French. 

The company's language of communication is English.

Your focus will be on creating at least two compelling articles a week centered around sustainability and home improvement. You will receive the page briefings from our SEO team that will encompass everything you need to get started.

Throughout the week, you'll engage in a process of refinement, involving editing, sub-editing and rewriting, while working closely with an SEO expert.

Once your page is nearing completion, you will brief the design team on the visuals your page needs to be as useful as possible for visitors.

Other responsibilities are:

• Creating compelling and targeted web copy
• Taking ownership of briefs as per established weekly timelines and seeing them through to completion
• Maximising peer support in the writing process and giving feedback to fellow copywriters.
• Following up on performance metrics and optimising web content for the Acceleration Team.
• Fostering a close collaboration with the SEO team to build on content outlines and refine final drafts.
• Creating strategic briefs for the Design team to level up content and Google rankings by optimising for image SEO.
• Publishing content via the company’s content management systems.

• You're able to present concepts and copy to stakeholders and support work with a clear rationale and recommendations.
• Communicating clearly and talking with colleagues is not a problem for you.
