Freelance Site Manager - Blackpool

A well-established North West construction and demolition contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a major demolition and remediation project in Blackpool. The project involves the demolition of existing hospital buildings alongside associated concrete repair and structural remediation works. This is a long-term freelance opportunity running through to Christmas with the potential for further work thereafter.

Your New RoleYou will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of demolition and concrete repair works on a live site, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Key duties will include:

Managing subcontractors and site operatives
Coordinating demolition and structural repair activities
Maintaining health and safety standards across site
Conducting inductions, toolbox talks and site briefings
Monitoring programme progress and reporting to senior management
Managing site documentation and compliance records
Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholdersWhat You'll Need to Succeed

Previous experience managing demolition projects
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation
Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors
Excellent communication and organisational skills
