Freight Account Manager

The Role:

• Looking after one of the company's larger freight accounts - mainly imports
• End to end operations
• Forming strong relationships with suppliers - hauliers, shipping lines, overseas agents
• Processing customs clearances
• Identifying other areas of potential business
• Finding more cost effective solutions for customers and identifying areas of improvement

The ideal candidate:

• Self motivated and eager to develop a successful career within freight forwarding
• Driven and able to problem solve under pressure
• Knowledgeable in shipping operations (import or export)
