Freight Coordinator

Are you an experienced Freight Coordinator with a strong understanding of customs documentation and international shipping processes? Reed Business Support are looking for our Maidstone-based client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join their dynamic team.

As a Freight Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in managing the end-to-end logistics of international shipments. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all freight movements are compliant with customs regulations and delivered efficiently and on time.

• Coordinate international freight shipments, including imports and exports
• Prepare and manage all necessary customs paperwork and documentation
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues or delays
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and support to clients and stakeholders

• Proven experience in freight coordination or logistics
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office
