Reed In Colchester are delighted to be supporting our client, a vibrant and growing freight forwarding company based in Colchester, seeking a versatile Operations All-Rounder who is ready to grow their career and help shape the company. This role offers the opportunity to manage logistics operations across sea, air, and road, ensuring excellence in service delivery.

Day-to-day duties of the role:

• Manage logistics operations across sea, air, and road freight, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
• Handle shipments from initiation to completion with meticulous attention to detail
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service
• Support sales efforts with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
• Optimise workflow processes to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
• Become an integral part of our senior team as the company expands, contributing to strategic decisions and growth

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in freight forwarding operations, including sea, air, and road
• Outstanding communication skills and a professional telephone manner
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with MultiFreight is preferred
• Experience with SAGE is a bonus
