Are you an experienced Freight Forwarder looking to join a leading business who have just secured brand new offices in Birmingham City Centre?

Pertemps are exclusively representing a multinational 3PL provider with a strong reputation for delivering tailored logistics solutions to both blue-chip companies and SMEs. With a growing presence in Birmingham City Centre, they are expanding their team and looking for an experienced and motivated Freight Forwarder to join their fast-paced, dynamic operation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in freight forwarding across road, sea, and air freight, as well as customs clearance in the UK, Northern Ireland, and the EU. What You'll Be Doing

" Delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships
" Coordinating shipments across sea, road, and air from collection to delivery
" Managing documentation: Bills of Lading, AWBs, CMRs, invoices, and insurance certificates
" Liaising with overseas offices and agents to ensure smooth operations
" Handling customs clearance and compliance procedures
" Monitoring profitability by managing costs and identifying efficiencies

What We're Looking For
" Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding
" Hands-on experience in road, sea, or air freight operations
" Confident managing shipments end-to-end, including billing and customs
" Strong communication and organisational skills
" A proactive, team-focused mindset with a passion for logistics
