Freight Forwarder

Looking for a fast-paced role in freight forwarding? Join our team as a Forwarder and be a key part of delivering top-tier logistics solutions!

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing end-to-end forwarding activities, ensuring smooth operations.
• Following strict SOPs and KPIs to maintain compliance.
• Providing excellent customer service, handling clearances, quotes, shipments, and invoicing.
• Coordinating with internal and external customers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Updating invoicing, job costing, and milestone tracking within required timeframes.
• Processing customs entries and managing cost control measures.
• Assisting senior forwarders, supervisors, and management as needed.
• Maintaining compliance with CAA, TAPA, HMRC, GDP, and IATA regulations.
• Ensuring accurate reporting and resolving queries from customers and suppliers.
• Supporting sales and management with customer development initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

• GCSEs or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a business-related field.
• Strong customer service background with proven operational experience.
• Understanding of international transport (Air, Sea, Road) and customs processes.
• Financial awareness and cost control understanding.
• IT proficiency, particularly in transport sector systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, as required.
