We are seeking a commercially focused Freight Forwarder to join our growing logistics team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with freight forwarding expertise and a proven ability to develop new business, manage key accounts, and deliver tailored logistics solutions to customers.
Working across Air, Sea and Road Freight, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth while ensuring exceptional service delivery.

The Role

As a Freight Forwarder / Commercial Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:

Managing freight forwarding operations for customers across air, sea and road freight.
Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Building and developing long-term customer relationships.
Managing key client accounts and growing existing business.
Producing freight quotations and commercial proposals.
Negotiating rates with carriers, suppliers and customers.
Working closely with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Achieving sales and gross profit targets.
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity.
Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.What We're Looking For
Essential:

Experience within Freight Forwarding or Logistics.
Knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight and Road Freight services.
Previous experience in business development, sales or account management.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Ability to build relationships with customers at all levels.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and target-driven approach.
Full UK Driving Licence.Desirable:

Experience selling international freight forwarding solutions.
Existing customer contacts within manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, automotive, FMCG or industrial sectors.
Knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
