Freight Operations Coordinator

Our Client an established freight forwarder based in the Heathrow area is looking to recruit an multi modal freight operations coordinator to join their friendly team. They are able to offer excellent company benefits including 5 weeks holiday.

Ideal candidate should have 2-3 years'experience within the freight forwarding industry in Exports, Imports, Cross Trade, and Customer Service.

Customs experience is not required but an advantage if candidates has knowledge of procedures or customs entries.

Role duties required

• Managing all customer requirements Freight Quotations
• Handling export / import domestics and cross trade shipments
• Updating customers with regards to their shipments
• Freight shipment costs are inputted into the system
• Assisting with Customs procedures formalities

Working hours 4 on 4 off 7am - 7pm - office based

Salary 34K - 38K subject to experience
