As a Freight Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end movement of goods across multiple transport modes. You will ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of shipments while maintaining excellent communication with clients, carriers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate international and domestic shipments across sea, air, road, and rail.
• Liaise with carriers, agents, and customs brokers to ensure smooth cargo movement.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation including bills of lading, customs declarations, and delivery notes.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records in the transport management system (TMS).
• Communicate with clients regarding shipment updates, exceptions, and service improvements.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to support client needs and optimise logistics solutions.

Experience

• Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations, ideally in a
  multimodal environment.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
