Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging French language lessons to primary and secondary students following the school's curriculum


• Create and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students


• Develop and maintain a positive learning environment that promotes student participation and success


• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development


• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the design and evaluation of the French curriculum


• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns


• Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK


• Strong knowledge and understanding of the French language and culture


• Proven experience teaching French at primary and/or secondary levels


• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• High level of professionalism and commitment to the teaching profession


• Familiarity with UK curriculum standards and assessment practices


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
