French Teacher | Brent | Developing Independent School

A developing Independent School in Brent is seeking a passionate and fluent French Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The successful French Teacher will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop their French language skills and cultural understanding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective French Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.


• Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE French examinations.


• Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in French.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a French Teacher.


• Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and resources.


• Encourage an appreciation for French language and culture.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in French or Modern Foreign Languages.


• Proven experience teaching French at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).


• Native or near-native fluency in French.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in French.
