About the Role

An Outstanding mixed school in Islington is seeking a passionate French Teacher to join their modern foreign languages department from September. You will inspire students to develop a love for the French language and culture across Key Stages 3 to 5.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.


• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.


• Develop students' language skills and intercultural understanding.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and resources.


• Organize and lead French-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in French.


• Proven experience in teaching French at secondary level.


• Strong language skills and a passion for French language and culture.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
