About the Role:

A prestigious, independent primary school in Camden, North West London is seeking a dedicated French Speaking Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term position, ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to work in a dynamic educational setting.

You will be working closely with class teachers to support pupils across the Primary phase, particularly those with French as a home language or additional language needs. This role is perfect for someone looking to develop a career in education while using their bilingual skills to enrich students' learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning within the classroom
• Use French and English to assist pupils in understanding instructions and content
• Help plan and lead engaging, interactive activities
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Provide one-to-one or small group support as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)
• Have a genuine interest in working with children
• Be proactive, positive, and dependable
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ideally have some experience working with children or in a school setting (not essential)
• Be available to start in September 2025
