Fresh Produce Commercial Executive

Our client is a highly respected and long-established fresh produce business supplying a wide range of customers across the UK market. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an ambitious and commercially minded individual to join their team in a full-time, office-based role in Prescot.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who already understands the fresh produce sector, or who is looking to accelerate their career within it, whilst becoming part of a progressive and entrepreneurial business.

Who Are We Looking For?

You may currently be:

* A Produce Buyer

* Junior Account Manager

* Commercial Executive

* Trader

* Sales Executive

* Produce Coordinator looking for the next step

What is important is that you have genuine experience within the fresh produce sector and understand how the industry operates. Ideally, you will have experience across a broad range of fresh produce categories and be comfortable building relationships with both customers and suppliers. Individuals out of the fresh produce sector are still highly encouraged to apply if you are interested in entering a very fast paced and exciting sector.

The Role

You will be involved in:

* Developing and managing customer relationships

* Supporting sales and commercial activity

* Sourcing and trading fresh produce

* Working closely with growers, suppliers and customers

* Identifying new commercial opportunities

* Helping drive the future growth of the business

This is a varied role where no two days are the same.

The Package

* £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
