Description
The key responsibilities for the Front of House Receptionist is:
Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors at reception.
Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and telephone enquiries.
Provide administrative support, including meeting preparation, mailshots, and document handling.
Assist with data entry, logging, and reporting using Excel.
Type and format documents using standard company templates.
Maintain office supplies and manage stock ordering.
Support the Investment Managers with diary management and client communications.
Coordinate incoming secretary requests via a shared task inbox.
Assist with internal tracking tools such as business pipeline and reporting spreadsheets.
Profile
The successful candidate for the Front of House Receptionist is someone with the following:
Previous reception and telephone handling experience.
Basic to intermediate Excel skills; comfortable inputting and managing data.
Accurate typing and ability to use standard templates.
Experience in a secretarial or team assistant role preferred.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Able to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a positive team spirit.
Proactive, helpful attitude and strong communication skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt, with training provided as needed
