Optime are excited to be recruiting Front of House Team Member in partnership with one of our prestigious client at Gatwick Airport in the North Terminal. What’s on offer:

• Rate of Pay: £12.40 per hour
• Day Shift: 03:00 am to 09:00 am (6 hour shifts)
• Staff should expect to work 2–4 shifts per week.
• All team members must be fully flexible with the days they work.
• Shifts will be scheduled Thursday to Monday, between 03:00am and 09:00am.
• Early starts are part of airport life, so reliability and punctuality are key.
• Weekly Pay (every Friday)
• Full training
• Temp to Perm (performance-based)

Key Duties:

As a Front of House Team Member, You’ll create a warm welcome, provide outstanding service, and ensure every guest leaves with a story worth sharing. This role is fast-paced and dynamic, perfect for someone who thrives in a buzzing environment and loves connecting with people.

• Greet and seat guests with energy, warmth, and a smile.
• Take orders efficiently and accurately while upselling menu favourites.
• Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely and friendly manner.
• Keep the restaurant looking sharp – clean, tidy, and ready for service.
• Work as part of a team to create a smooth and memorable guest experience.
• Support airport service standards, including compliance with security and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Passionate about hospitality and people.

• A natural communicator who loves working in a team.
• Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning starts.
• Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card
• UK Settled Status (If applicable)
• Proof of National Insurance
• Proof of (current) Address
• 5 Year Address History
• 5 Year Work Reference History
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.

PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
