FTSE 250 Assistant Company Secretary - 3612

Fascinating and fast-paced FTSE 250 listed hospitality/wholesale business now has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Secretary

to join its small legal/company secretarial team (mix of 8 company secretarial and legal staff). This role would suit a candidate with the following skills and experience;

Prior experience of working in a UK Listed Company Secretarial team is essential with at least 5 years of company secretarial experience (desired).
CGI qualified or studying CGI qualifications.
Demonstrable knowledge of UK Companies Act, and other corporate legislation, corporate governance codes and best practice, and other regulatory codes and frameworks.
Highly organised, process driven with excellent attention to detail.
A good level of IT literacy, systems GEMs/Diligent/Insidertrack.
An aptitude for forward planning.
Flexible attitude, able to cope with unexpected and varied demands.
Self-motivated, pro-active and always looking to contribute to the team’s overall objectives.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis. The team are based in Scotland, but they are used to not having everyone in the team living locally. As this is a specialist opportunity they can be flexible for this role, and offer more working from home if required, in order to attract candidates who are further afield, basically they are happy to discuss on a case by case basis.
