£55,000 – £65,000 | Permanent | Remote
A UK-based EdTech company is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a developer seeking genuine ownership and the chance to work closely with the wider business. The role will involve supporting and developing business-critical systems, resolving technical issues and helping transition to a new platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain, improve and develop existing web applications
* Troubleshoot bugs and production issues
* Develop new features and integrations/APIs
* Work closely with non-technical stakeholders
* Support the transition to a new platform and progressively take ownership
* Maintain high standards around data integrity, security and documentation
About You
* 3–6 years’ commercial software development experience
* Strong full-stack development skills
* Experience with a server-side language, modern JavaScript framework and SQL
* Experience supporting live production systems
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and take ownership
The technology environment includes PHP, MySQL, JavaScript/Next.js, Go, PostgreSQL, AWS, DigitalOcean and Vercel. Experience across every technology is not required.
