Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and nurturing primary school in the BL3 area, who are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from November. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to make a meaningful impact across the KS2 curriculum.

About the Role

You will take responsibility for the Year 4 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupils’ academic progress and personal development. The ideal teacher will be confident in delivering the KS2 curriculum, able to foster a positive classroom environment, and passionate about helping pupils thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum
Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where needed
Provide targeted support to pupils of varying abilities
Work closely with colleagues, including SEN staff and subject leads
Create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
Maintain strong communication with parents and carers
What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – (Induction complete preferred)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 preferred but not essential)
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to differentiate learning to support all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
