Full Time Foundation Learning Lecturer

Full-Time Lecturer (Foundation Studies)

We are seeking a dedicated full-time lecturer to join our team delivering Foundation Studies, with a focus on Access to FE programmes. In this role, you will support learners to develop independence and prepare for employment or further education, while contributing to the ongoing development of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Foundation Studies, particularly Access to FE courses
• Help learners build essential skills for independence and progression
• Prepare students for Functional Skills qualifications
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous programme improvement
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain excellent standards of teaching and learning

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant subject or a minimum Level 3 qualification with substantial teaching experience in Foundation Learning
• Experience delivering Functional Skills within Foundation Learning
• Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in this area
• Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the Further Education sector preferred

Hours:
36 hours per week

Salary:
£32,455 to £45,260 per annum
