Full Time Nanny Housekeeper

Days and Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join a family in Altrincham as a Full-Time Nanny Housekeeper. The family are mum, dad and two children aged 4 and 2.

Please note - the 4 year old is in pre prep from 8:45am to 3pm on schooldays and the 2 year old is in nursery from 9am to 5pm on Wednesdays and Fridays. The housekeeping element of the role is only required when both are in pre prep/nursery. The girls will be the priority at all other times

Mum and Dad are busy professionals and are looking for someone to be part of the family team. This position requires excellent childcare skills, household management abilities, and the capability to assist with personal tasks and errands. The ideal candidate should be dependable, organised, and possess a clean driver's licence with their own car for school/nursery drop-offs and pick-ups.

Responsibilities:

Childcare:

Provide loving and attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the children's physical, emotional, and intellectual development.

Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, educational games, and outings.

Oversee school drop-offs and pick-ups, ensuring punctuality and safety.

Help with homework and educational activities as needed.

Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.

Establish and maintain a structured daily routine.

Housekeeping:

Perform housekeeping duties, including Cleaning House and keeping on top on chores

Ensure the children's belongings are organised and well-maintained.

Laundry and ironing clothes.

Manage and maintain household supplies and grocery shopping.

Run errands as needed and prepare dinners for the girls.

Organise and manage appointments extracurricular activities.

Maintain open and effective communication with the parents regarding the children's daily activities and needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role as a nanny, housekeeper.

• Valid and clean driver's licence with own transportation for school runs.

• Paediatric First Aid.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for children.

• Ability to multitask and handle household responsibilities efficiently.

• Enhanced DBS.

• The family are bilingual so if you do speak Mandarin this would be beneficial but is not essential

Benefits:

• Salary £17- £18 gross per hour.
