A friendly and inclusive primary school in Streatham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and supportive individual who is passionate about helping children succeed both academically and socially.
The school is particularly interested in candidates with previous school-based experience and experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to support pupils across the classroom. The role will involve a combination of whole-class support, small group interventions, and 1:1 support for children with additional needs.
You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop confidence, and reach their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

What We're Looking For
Previous experience working within a school setting Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) A patient, caring, and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing
Key Responsibilities
