Are you a passionate and visionary leader with a deep commitment to the arts and design technology? We are seeking an inspirational and experienced Curriculum Lead of Art & DT to lead and develop our thriving Art and Design Technology departments in a secondary school in Hillingdon.

About the Role:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Art and DT departments.


• Oversee the development and delivery of a high-quality curriculum.


• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of talented teachers.


• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning.


• Manage departmental budgets and resources.


• Foster a love of art, design, and technology in students.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school.


• Participate in professional development opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS or equivalent.


• Possesses significant experience in teaching Art and/or Design Technology.


• Demonstrates strong leadership and management skills.


• Has a passion for the arts and design technology.


• Is committed to student success and innovation in education.


• Has excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
