Salary: £50,000-£55,000 gross per annum, dependent on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 40 hours per week, with some flexibility during periods of family residency

We are assisting our client in finding a professional and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their private household based in Central London. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary, working within an elegant and well-maintained residence. This position is suited to someone with extensive private household experience, confident both in maintaining immaculate housekeeping standards and in delivering personal service when the family is in residence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily upkeep of the home, including cleaning, dusting, and maintaining all areas to an exceptional standard
• Managing household laundry and caring for fine and delicate garments, including wardrobe organisation
• Monitoring household stock levels and ensuring supplies are replenished in a timely manner
• Providing a welcoming presence for guests and family members, with a strong sense of courtesy and professionalism
• Assisting with the service of meals and drinks as required, both informally and in more formal settings
• Coordinating dining arrangements and maintaining beautifully presented table settings
• Caring for personal items and wardrobes, ensuring everything is in excellent condition and well organised
• Supporting the broader household team to ensure smooth, coordinated operation across all areas
• Maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times

Ideal candidate:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a high-level private household environment, with proven service and hospitality skills
• Highly detail-focused, with pride in maintaining high standards across all aspects of the role
• Calm, polite and adaptable, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong understanding of formal and informal service etiquette
• Able to manage time effectively, work independently and anticipate the needs of the household
• Trustworthy and professional, with a strong sense of loyalty and respect for privacy
