Position Summary:

Our client, a reputable secondary school located in Sutton, is seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their esteemed faculty. This full-time, permanent position commences in September and offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a thriving music department and inspire young musicians.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative music instruction to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.


• Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school's music program.


• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the music department and across the school to foster a holistic approach to music education.


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current pedagogical practices and advancements in music education.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching music at the secondary level (KS3-5).


• A passion for music education and a commitment to fostering students' musical talents.
