Role: Functional Skills English Lecturer

Rate: £30 - £40 per hour

Eden Brown Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Functional Skills English Level 2 Lecturer/Tutor to work with a Further Education college based in West Yorkshire, delivering an intensive programme to apprentices across two weeks in November.

This is a temporary role for 2 weeks to start Weeks commencing: 9 November and 23 November.

Hours are:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-4:00pm.
- Friday: 9:00am-12:30pm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and experienced tutor to support apprentices through their Level 2 English assessments, including online Reading and Writing examinations and Speaking, Listening and Communicating (SLC) assessments.

The Role:

- Deliver intensive Functional Skills English Level 2 sessions to apprentices.
- Prepare and support learners for their online Reading and Writing examinations.
- Deliver and support Speaking, Listening and Communicating assessments.
- Engage and motivate learners to help maximise achievement.
- Ensure learners are confident and fully prepared for their assessments.

Requirements:

- Proven experience delivering Functional Skills English Level 2.
- Experience preparing learners for examinations and assessments.
- Strong communication, teaching and classroom management skills.
- The ability to deliver an intensive programme within a Further Education setting.

Assignment Details:

- Planning and teaching materials will be provided.
