Description

• Assist in the preparation of daily, monthly, and quarterly fund valuations and NAV calculations
• Assisting in month-end accurals and prepayments
• Help prepare financial statements and investor reporting packs
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including auditors, fund managers, and administrators
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements
• Assisting with audit queries
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives

Profile

A successful Fund Accountant should have:

• A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Educated to degree level (ideally 2:1 or above).
• A hard-working, 'can-do' attitude.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• An understanding of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• A professional accounting qualification or progress towards one is desirable.
