Job DescriptionFund Controller/Fund Admin Manager, Pan-European Private Equity Fund London Central LondonAttractive Salary Ref: WW11297The Opportunity:Finatal is working with a very sought-after private equity fund that is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join the Fund Finance Team. This is an incredible and unique opportunity to join an exciting fund in the private equity space.The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and have valuable fund finance experience at a private equity firm or fund administrator.The Role:The role’s responsibilities across Fund Admin and Group Finance include:Fund Admin:• Day-to-day management and oversight of fund administrators• Review and finalisation of quarter end and year end reporting – NAV packs, capital account statements, fund reporting schedules, etc.• Managing fund administrators for preparation of investor capital calls / distribution notices and equalisations, etc.• Audit management for timely commencement and completion of audit• Review and finalisation of Annual Financial statements• Coordination with deal teams for year-end audit of valuations, back ups for validation of earnings and net debt, multiples• Coordination with tax advisors for reporting of fund (s)• Review and approve Lux CIT and VAT returns of fund (s) and Holding• Preparing annual expense budgets/reports and monthly cash flow forecasts of fund (s)• Support investor relations team in investor queries, routine quarterly reporting• IRR analysis, Gross to Net (GTN) modellingGroup Finance:• Revenue Assurance• Account receivable management for fund and portfolio co receivable• Assisting compliance team in FCA and CNMV fillings (if applicable)• Cost analysis e.g. T&E spend by staff, mobile cost by staff, etc.Requirements:• Big 4 qualified Chartered Accountant (qualified before 2019)• 5+ years of post-qualification experience. Relevant experience of working in a private equity firm or at a fund administrator is must.• Knowledge of Lux GAAP and US GAAP is an added advantage.• Self-starter and Proactive• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
