Funding Support Officer - Building Safety

Morgan Hunt are working with a Housing Association who are searching for a Funding Support Officer. This is great opportunity to work alongside the Building Safety team and gain an understand of the whole remediation process, while working in the claims team.

Role Summary:

Support funding applications and cost-recovery efforts for building safety and remediation programmes, including the Homes England Cladding Safety Scheme. Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act and contribute to strategic funding and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare, submit, and monitor funding applications (e.g. Homes England Cladding Safety Scheme)

· Ensure claims meet governance and funder requirements

· Track applications, approvals, correspondence, and budgets

· Produce accurate monthly reports and maintain funding records

· Liaise across Building Safety, Finance, Delivery teams, consultants, and regulators

· Support identification of new funding opportunities aligned with safety and asset goals

· Advise project teams on compliance and best practices

What You'll Need:

· Experience in law, construction, housing, insurance, or similar field

· Understanding of residential building safety regulations and funding schemes

· Strong analytical skills; able to interpret complex funding criteria

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities

· Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and digital tracking/reporting tools

· Collaborative approach with internal and external stakeholders
