Job Overview

Pro Drive Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and reliable Furniture Assembler to join their team. The role involves assembling a variety of furniture items with precision and care, ensuring all work meets the required quality and safety standards.

The work will be based across Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Derbyshire, depending on client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble furniture using hand tools and power tools in accordance with instructions and specifications.

Read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams and technical drawings.

*

Carry out quality checks to ensure furniture is assembled safely and correctly.

*

Safely lift, carry and move furniture components and assembled items.

*

Work effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.

*

Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.

Requirements

*

Previous experience in furniture assembly or a similar hands-on role.

*

Confident using hand tools and power tools.

*

Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting safely.

*

Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

*

Good physical fitness and the ability to stand, lift and move materials throughout the working day.

*

Experience in construction, removals or furniture manufacturing would be advantageous.

Contract Details

*

Pay: £13.00 per hour

*

Duration: Temporary, initially expected to last 4–6 weeks

*

Future opportunities: There may be opportunities for further work depending on client requirements and performance.
