Salary: £28,000 – £45,000 depending on experience and skill level
Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for experienced Garage Door Installation Engineers to join our team in Leicester.

We operate a clear 5-level engineer structure, with salary progression based on technical ability, experience and responsibility.

Salary & Skill Levels

Level 3 – £28,000

- Up & over doors

- Side-hinged doors

- Personnel doors

- Minimum 2 garage door installations per day

- Hours: 8:00am–4:30pm

Level 3 Plus – £30,000

- All Level 3 skills

- Insulated roller doors

- Minimum 2 installations per day

- Hours: 8:00am–4:30pm

Level 2 – £32,000

- All Level 3 Plus skills

- Sectional doors

- Repairs across all manufacturers

- Gates

- Minimum 2 installations per day

- Hours: 7:30am–4:30pm

Level 1 – £34,000

- All door types

- Entrance doors

- Repairs across all manufacturers

- Gates

- Minimum 2 installations per day

- Hours: 8:00am–4:30pm

Lead Engineer – £35,000–£45,000

- All door types, entrance doors, repairs and gates

- Handle deliveries where required

- Support and assist other engineers

- Open up and complete morning handovers where required

- Minimum 2 installations per day

- Hours: 8:00am–4:30pm

What We Expect

All engineers are expected to:

- Complete scheduled work to a high standard

- Work safely and professionally

- Take ownership of remedial work where required

- Contact the office if work finishes early or a job cancels

- Assist with other work, including showroom installations, warehouse tasks and supporting other engineers

Overtime is paid where scheduled work overruns normal hours. Remedial work causing an overrun is not eligible for overtime.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for reliable, practical and customer-focused engineers with garage door installation and/or repair experience. Your starting level and salary will depend on your existing skills and experience, with clear opportunities for progression.
