An excellent opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Team Leader to join a growing horticultural business with a strong focus on quality and service. This role is ideal for someone looking to step beyond a typical supervisory position and develop into a broader operational role over time.

You will begin by leading from the front on-site, ensuring high standards are met and supporting your team day to day. As you develop, you will gradually take on more responsibility across planning, client interaction, and overall operations, becoming a key part of how the business runs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support garden maintenance teams on-site
Deliver work to a consistently high standard
Carry out a wide range of practical maintenance tasks
Use tools and equipment safely and effectively
Support and mentor team members
Assist with planning and organising daily workloads
Begin to support site visits, client communication, and quoting
Contribute to improving processes, efficiency, and team performance

What We're Looking For

Experience in a practical, outdoor or trade-based role
Confident using tools and equipment
Strong work ethic and reliability
Natural leadership ability or supervisory experience
Good communication and organisational skills
Motivated to grow into a more senior role over time
Horticulture experience is beneficial but not essential
