Garden Nursery Labourer

If you enjoy practical, hands-on work and would rather spend your working day outdoors than stuck inside, this could be a great fit. As a Garden Nursery Labourer, you’ll help keep a busy tree nursery moving, handling shrubs, trees and plants ready for their next destination.

This is an outdoor role where you’ll be working in all weather conditions, Monday to Friday, with an earlier finish on Fridays.

Your responsibilities as Garden Nursery Labourer

Pick shrubs and prepare them for onward use
Work safely with trees and other nursery stock
Dig out plants carefully and efficiently
Carry out general landscaping tasks around the nursery
Support the day-to-day handling and movement of plants
Complete practical outdoor tasks as required across the site
 
What we’re looking for in a Garden Nursery Labourer

Ability to carry out physically demanding manual work
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to complete digging, lifting and general manual handling tasks
Previous gardening, landscaping, horticultural or similar practical work would be beneficial
 
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 4:30pm; Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm.
