Garment Tech Admin Assistant

Job Purpose
To support the QC department by ensuring daily administrative tasks are completed in order to achieve the department goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

Sample log in and out procedure
Liaise with suppliers to ensure samples are sent within agreed time frames
Monitoring and updating the critical path to ensure deliveries are on time
Assist with sealing and production sample process
Support the QC dept. at fit sessions, taking detailed notes and comments
Measuring and monitoring samples using size specifications
Assist with general daily office tasks on all QC activity
Ensure good housekeeping is maintained within the QC department
Check all products for colour, labelling, make up, sizing, packaging requirements, and barcodes.
Keen eye for detail

Skills & Experience
Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills

Numerate, analytical and PC Literate. Excel and Word is essential

Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks efficiently
·

Ability to communicate internally and externally
·

Flexibility and commitment to support the department whenever required
·

Fashion/Garment Technology related qualification would be an advantage
