Garment Technologist

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee fast-paced, collaborative fit sessions with buying and design teams, ensuring products meet desired standards.
• Reviewing and approving samples of all sampling stages.
• Manage the sealing process, ensuring samples are processed timely.
• Resolving garment construction, quality issues & potential risks.
• Liaise with designers, buyers, and suppliers to offer technical guidance on product development and garment construction.
• Advise on fabrications for specific size specifications at the design and sign-off stages prior to sampling.
• Provide expert guidance on pattern adjustments to improve f it and reduce sample quantities.
• Build and maintain strong communication and relationships with suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a womenswear function, with a strong focus on multi-product.
• Ability to fit accurately and at speed is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of fabric bases and their performance on the body.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Confident in your abilities, able to voice opinions and ideas professionally.
• Highly organised, agile, and able to prioritise in a busy office environment with frequent changes in priorities.
• Passionate about the product, constantly seeking improvements for the brand and customer.
