About the Client
Our client is a well-established UK contractor delivering construction, property maintenance and facilities management services nationwide. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to join their facilities Management team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Gas Engineer to play a key role in delivering reactive maintenance and planned preventative works across a portfolio of commercial properties.
Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, you will ensure gas and heating systems are operating safely and efficiently while providing a high standard of service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on commercial gas systems
* Complete plumbing repairs and minor installations
* Service and maintain low temperature hot water and heating systems
* Liaise effectively with colleagues, clients and subcontractors
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with regulations
* Complete job sheets, certification and relevant documentation accurately
* Provide technical advice and support where required
* Order materials in line with company procedures
* Support the delivery of contractual service standards
Requirements
* Relevant Gas Engineering qualification
Current commercial gas certifications including:
* CCN1 (or COCDN1)
* COCN1 (or CODNCO1)
* CIGA1
* CDGA1LL
* CCCN1
* CCLP1
* Experience carrying out maintenance within commercial environments
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence
