Gas Engineer

Fraser Edwards Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Gas Engineers to work for a Contractor.

The role will involve servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas appliances including boilers, cookers, and fires.

We are looking for reliable and experienced engineers who can work independently, provide a good service to residents, and complete work to a high standard.

Main Duties

* Service and repair gas boilers, cookers, fires, and other domestic gas appliances.

* Carry out gas safety checks and routine maintenance.

* Diagnose and fix faults efficiently.

* Respond to routine and emergency repair requests.

* Make sure all work is completed safely and in line with current gas regulations.

* Complete job sheets and keep accurate records of work carried out.

* Deal professionally and politely with residents and housing staff.

* Report any additional repairs or issues that need attention.

* Provide basic technical advice when required.

Requirements

* Relevant Gas Engineer qualifications and certifications.

* Good experience servicing and repairing domestic gas appliances.

* Experience working on boilers, cookers, and fires.

* Good knowledge of gas safety regulations.

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

* Good communication and customer service skills.

* Reliable transport to travel between properties.

* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
