We are currently recruiting for an experience Gas Engineer to join our client based in Trowbridge.

They are looking for candidates with experience in servicing and breakdowns, installations, or a combination of both, so whether your strengths lie in one particular area or you are a multi-skilled engineer.

A background in plumbing would be advantageous, as would previous or current OFTEC registration.

As a Gas Engineer, your responsibilities may include:

* Carrying out gas servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs.

* Completing boiler and heating installations, depending on your experience.

* Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions.

* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.

* Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional approach.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

* Relevant gas qualifications.

* Experience in servicing and breakdowns, installations, or both.

* Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

* A professional and customer-focused attitude.

* The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

Desirable:

* A plumbing background.

* Current or previous OFTEC registration.

* Experience across multiple areas of domestic heating.

Salary & Benefits

* 25 Days holiday plus 1 extra day each year per year of service

* Hours 8-5 plus overtime if wanted

* No weekends but can work weekends if wanted

* No 24hr call

* Van and fuel card. Happy with some personal use

* Can supply all kit if needed
