Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Gas Engineer to join our team. The role involves the maintenance, servicing, and repair of heating systems in domestic properties, ensuring efficient and safe operation of heating and hot water systems. The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential properties.
  
• Deliver a high standard of customer care, ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.
  
• Provide timely updates and progress reports, including electronic documentation via mobile systems.
  
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH procedures.
  
• Manage stock ordering and auditing processes to ensure availability of parts.
  
• Take part in the out -of -hours rota, covering evenings and weekends when required.
  

Requirements

• Essential Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
  
• Proven experience as a Gas Engineer within domestic settings.
  
• Strong focus on safety, compliance, and delivering quality workmanship.
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
  
• DBS check required prior to employment.
