Gas Turbine Controls Engineers – Ltd Contractors

UK & North Sea | Ongoing Contract Opportunities | 2026–2027

We are looking for experienced Gas Turbine Controls Engineers working through their own Ltd companies for ongoing contract opportunities across the UK and North Sea.

We have a number of current and upcoming requirements and are looking to establish long-term relationships with experienced contractors for projects throughout 2026 and into 2027.

We are particularly interested in engineers with hands-on experience across gas turbine controls, commissioning, start-up, maintenance and fault finding.

Control System Experience

Experience with the following systems would be highly advantageous:

* GE Speedtronic – Mark IV, Mark V, Mark VI and Mark VIe

* LAR(R)i / LARRI

* Woodward turbine control systems

* Siemens

* Honeywell

* Emerson

* ABB

* Mitsubishi

* Other comparable gas turbine control systems

Typical Experience

We are looking for engineers with a strong practical background in areas such as:

* Gas turbine controls and instrumentation

* Turbine start-up and commissioning

* Controls maintenance

* Fault finding and troubleshooting

* Control system modifications

* Calibration and testing

Assignments may include:

* North Sea offshore projects

* UK onshore projects

* Planned maintenance and shutdowns

* Commissioning and start-up

* Controls maintenance and support

* Fault finding and troubleshooting

Contractor Requirements

* Proven experience as a Gas Turbine Controls Engineer

* Strong hands-on controls and fault-finding experience

* Experience with gas turbine control systems

* Relevant industrial experience

* Relevant offshore certification where required

* Right to work in the UK
