Gatekeeper / Traffic Marshall

Duties

• Maintain site security at the gate and prevent unauthorised access.
  
• Record deliveries against the project delivery schedule.
  
• Refuse deliveries that are not scheduled.
  
• Ensure delivery vehicles comply with the project's logistics management plan.
  
• Assist the project team by accurately recording environmental and delivery information.
  
• Safely manage vehicle movements on and off site using approved traffic management procedures.
  
• Assist drivers and supply chain partners with site access and manoeuvring where required.
  
• Maintain a clean and professional site entrance.
  
• Act as the public face of the project, remaining polite, professional and approachable at all times.
  
• Demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety procedures.
  
• Challenge unsafe behaviour where appropriate and report any issues to the project team.
